개인정보처리방침

    • All personal information handled by ULTARI (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) is collected, retained, and processed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea provides the general legal framework for the handling of personal information. Pursuant to the provisions of this Act, ULTARI shall collect, retain, and process personal information lawfully and appropriately to ensure the proper performance of its public duties and to safeguard the rights and interests of data subjects.
    • Furthermore, ULTARI shall respect the rights of data subjects regarding their personal information—including the rights to request access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing—in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. If such statutory rights are infringed, data subjects may file an administrative appeal pursuant to the Administrative Appeals Act.
    • In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, ULTARI has established and discloses this Privacy Policy in order to protect the personal information and rights and interests of data subjects, and to efficiently handle complaints related to personal information.
  • Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
    • 1ULTARI processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information shall not be used for any purpose other than those specified below, and in the event of any change in the intended purpose of use, ULTARI shall take necessary measures—such as obtaining separate consent from the data subject—in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act
      • (a) Membership Registration and Management
        • Personal information is processed for the purposes of verifying the data subject’s intent to register, identifying and authenticating individuals for membership-based services, maintaining and managing membership status, preventing unauthorized or fraudulent use of services, and providing various notices and notifications.
      • (b) Handling Inquiries and Complaints
        • Personal information is processed for the purpose of handling inquiries and complaints related to personal information, including requests for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing, as well as reports of personal data breaches.
      • (c) Administrative Operations
    • 2The purpose of processing, retention period, and items of personal information files registered and disclosed pursuant to Article 32 of the Act are as follows:

  • Article 2 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
    • 1ULTARI shall process and retain personal information within the period prescribed by applicable laws and regulations, or within the period agreed to by the data subject at the time of collection.

  • Article 3 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
    • 1To ensure the efficient handling of personal information, ULTARI outsources certain processing tasks to third-party service providers as follows:

    • 2In accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, ULTARI stipulates the following matters in written agreements when entering into outsourcing contracts: prohibition of processing personal information beyond the scope of the entrusted tasks, implementation of security measures, restrictions on sub-outsourcing, supervision and management of the entrusted party, and liability for damages. ULTARI also supervises the entrusted party to ensure that personal information is handled safely.
    • 3Any changes to the details of the outsourced tasks or to the entrusted service providers shall be promptly disclosed through this Privacy Policy.
  • Article 4 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Their Legal Representatives, and Methods of Exercising Such Rights)
    • 1Data subjects may exercise their rights concerning their personal information, including the rights to request access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing, with respect to ULTARI at any time.
      • For data subjects under the age of 14, their legal representative must exercise any rights related to personal information, including access requests. Data subjects aged 14 or older may exercise these rights either directly or through their legal representative.
    • 2In accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, data subjects may exercise their rights with respect to ULTARI through written s, email, or fax. ULTARI shall take prompt action in response to such requests.
    • 3Rights may also be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent of the data subject. In such cases, a power of attorney in the form prescribed in Annex 11 of the Notice on Personal Information Processing Method must be submitted.
    • 4The rights of data subjects to request access to, or suspension of the processing of, their personal information may be restricted pursuant to Article 35(4) and Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
    • 5 Requests for the correction or deletion of personal information may not be accepted if the collection of such information is explicitly required by other applicable laws or regulations.
    • 6When a data subject exercises the right to request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing, ULTARI verifies whether the requester is the data subject or a duly authorized representative.

  • Article 6 (Procedures and Methods for the Destruction of Personal Information)
    • 1ULTARI shall promptly destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as upon the expiration of the retention period or the fulfillment of the processing purpose.
    • 2Even if the retention period agreed to by the data subject has expired or the processing purpose has been fulfilled, if the personal information must still be retained under other applicable laws, such personal information (or personal information files) shall be stored separately—either by transferring it to a separate database (DB) or by storing it in a different .
    • 3 The procedures and methods for the destruction of personal information are as follows: A. Procedure

  • Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information)
    • In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, ULTARI implements the following technical, administrative, and physical measures to ensure the security of personal information.
    • 1Minimization and Training of Personnel Handling Personal Information
      • ULTARI designates specific personnel to handle personal information and minimizes their number to the extent necessary, implementing appropriate measures to manage such information securely.
    • 2 Access Control to Personal Information
      • ULTARI takes necessary measures to control access to personal information by granting, modifying, and revoking access rights to the database systems that process personal information, and restricts unauthorized access from external sources.
    • 3Retention of Access Records and Prevention of Tampering
      • ULTARI retains and manages records of access to personal information processing systems (such as web logs and summary data) for at least one year and implements security measures to prevent the alteration, theft, or loss of such records.
    • 4Encryption of Personal Information
      • Users’ personal information is stored and managed in an encrypted format. In addition, critical data is encrypted during storage and transmission, and separate security functions are applied as necessary.
    • 5Technical Measures Against Hacking and Other Threats
      • To prevent the leakage or damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses, ULTARI installs security programs, regularly updates and inspects them, and installs systems in areas restricted from external access, where they are monitored and blocked both technically and physically. ULTARI also monitors network traffic and detects any unauthorized attempts to alter information.
    • 6Physical Access Control for Unauthorized Persons
      • ULTARI maintains a physically separate storage facility for systems containing personal information and establishes and operates access control procedures for these facilities.
